Waukesha Sunrise Rotary was proud to sponsor the Penguin Egg Hunt and help Lil’ Chill leave colorful eggs for children to find during today’s Waukesha Janboree.
With very cold winter temperatures impacting outdoor activities, the decision was made to move the Penguin Egg Hunt indoors to the Schuetze Recreation Center. The change of venue ensured a safe, warm, and welcoming environment where children could fully enjoy the experience.
Inside the recreation center, families gathered as children eagerly searched for eggs, laughed, and celebrated the winter tradition. Rotarians and volunteers assisted throughout the event, helping ensure everything ran smoothly and that every child left with a smile.
Waukesha Sunrise Rotary is proud to support events like the Penguin Egg Hunt that bring families together and strengthen community connections — even when winter weather requires a little flexibility.
