U.S. Army's resurrection of "The Monument Men"

Sen. Kooyenga who also serves as a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves, will be joining our Zoom meeting on July 7, 2020.  In a break from COVID and divisive politics, he is going to present the U.S. Army's resurrection of "The Monument Men".  The Monument Men were a team of archeologists and artists who were commissioned during WWII to locate and preserve art stolen by the Nazis.  The story was depicted most recently in a movie staring Mat Damon and George Clooney.  Eighty years later the U.S. Army is forming elite teams of "Monument Men and Women".  Major Kooyenga will join us to tell this remarkable story and share his involvement in it.  He will take questions afterward.
