Waukesha Sunrise Rotary Club
Community Service Award for Outstanding
& Dedicated Service to Our Community and World

Nomination Process
  1. At least annually, the Waukesha Sunrise Rotary (WSR) Membership Committee will request its members nominate deserving individuals to receive this Award.
  2. A Waukesha Sunrise Rotary Club Rotarian must nominate an Award candidate.
  3. The candidate must live, work or volunteer within our Waukesha community and provide significant leadership or service in our world. The candidate may be a Rotarian but may not be a member of the WSR Club.
  4. The Rotarian nominating the candidate must submit a written nomination to our WSR Membership Committee identifying the outstanding leadership or dedicated service provided by the individual using criteria that should include but is not limited to the following Rotary concepts:
    1. Service-above-self. The community services provided by the nominee should be above and beyond services for which the individual is compensated in their normal work (e.g., volunteer services, an unsung hero, anonymous giving, charitable fund raising without compensation, helping the less fortunate, etc.).
    2. Services in one or more of our Rotary areas of service:
  5. Club Service—providing service clubs with support for their service activities
ii.                  Community Service—providing our community with leadership or services that makes Waukesha a better place to live for present or future generations.
iii.                Vocational Service—providing vocational leadership or services that make Waukesha a better place where citizens can enjoy their work and family life.
iv.                International Service—providing our world with international leadership or services.
v.                  New Generations—providing leadership, guidance, or mentoring to young people up to 30 years of age by improving their life skills.
