Bob Galitz Memorial Scholarships
 
We are proud to be awarding two $1250 Bob Galitz Memorial Scholarships for the 2016-2017 school year. This is an invitation to nominate students who satisfy the requirements as listed below. The Application deadline is Friday, April 28th 2017. The scholarships will be awarded in August.
 
Selection Process
 
Two scholarships will be awarded by the Waukesha Sunrise Rotary Club, one to a Waukesha North High School Interact Senior and one to a Pewaukee High School Senior.  These scholarships will be issued to the students who have met the following requirements:
 

  1. The Scholarship money will be sent directly to the applicant’s two or four year college or university to pay tuition after successfully completing their freshman year with a grade point of 2.75 or higher. It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact the Waukesha Sunrise Rotary Club to verify their grade point.

  2. Applications and verification of high school GPA should be submitted to the Joe Fahl by either email at jfahl@wi.rr.com or by mail at 1008 Fieldridge Court, Waukesha, WI 53188.

  3. Applications must be completed by the applicant. It can be typed or legibly hand written.

  4. This scholarship is for students who do not have a full academic or sports scholarship.

  5. Please submit your application by the last Friday in April.

 
The winners of the scholarships will be expected to come to a meeting and give a brief presentation so that our club members can meet the successful candidates. The scholarship money will be paid directly to the school for tuition.
