Waukesha North’s Interact Club hosted an annual joint
meeting with the Waukesha Sunrise Rotary on November 15. The meeting started with Rotarians and
students meeting other people who shared their birthday season and asking each
other ice breaker questions. Over 50
people attended and enjoyed a breakfast catered by Waukesha North’s Food
Service. All the Interact members were
presented with Interact lapel pins during the meeting. Adam Kouhel and Ross Laedtke presented past
successes and future goals to the club.
A new goal is for Interact to sponsor a Moroccan organization, which
will be coordinated during Adam’s holiday visit to the country in
December. Adam will be networking with a
Moroccan Rotary Club, with help from the Waukesha Sunrise Rotary’s international
connections. Both Rotarians and students commented on the mutual enthusiasm for
working together.
